About the session:
As an established consultant, you are an expert in your field. But how do you attract more right-fit projects so you can do your best work? How do you differentiate yourself from your peers? How do you make it clear to prospective clients that you are the obvious choice?
To become an authority in your field, you must share your ideas and perspectives.
In this workshop you will learn how to get started writing for industry trade journals, association publications, and well-known business magazines. More specifically, you will learn how to:
Select the right publication to help you reach your audience and achieve your business goals.
Define your body of work and create an editorial calendar to guide article development.
Craft compelling articles that position you as an authority in your field.
Pitch any publication with confidence, even if they don't have contributor guidelines.
Use published articles to build a robust network and secure new opportunities.
This workshop will introduce you to the SILVA Method™ and walk you through the process that has helped dozens of consultants secure bylines in publications like Inc., Entrepreneur, and Harvard Business Review. You will walk away with practical tools and insights you can apply immediately to build your authority and open the door to new opportunities.
